These terms explain how the Settle in Ireland service works. By paying the first payment, you agree to these terms. If you have a question, please ask before you pay.
1. Who we are
We are Settle in Ireland, based in Ireland ("we", "us"). In these terms, "you" or "the client" means the person receiving the service. A "partner agency" is an agency that refers a client to us.
2. The service
We provide practical arrival and settling-in support for international clients moving to Ireland. We give each client one-to-one support from our team and help with the practical steps after arrival. Support is given mainly by WhatsApp and phone, and we meet in person only if it is needed. We do not provide airport pickups. IRP application assistance and PPSN application assistance can also be agreed on their own, at a price we confirm in writing before you start. College admissions and visa applications are handled by the partner agency or by the client, not by us.
3. What is included
The Complete Arrival and Settling-In Support package includes:
- Arrival Planning
- Accommodation Assistance Before Arrival
- IRP Application Assistance
- PPSN Application Assistance
- Bank Account Setup Support
- TFI Leap Card and Travel Guidance
- Local Orientation and Practical Support
WhatsApp support for practical questions is available during the first weeks after arrival. We confirm the exact support period with you at the start of the service.
4. What is not included
- College admissions and visa applications.
- Legal, immigration, visa, tax, financial or medical advice.
- Booking, reserving or guaranteeing government appointments of any kind.
- Government fees, rent, accommodation deposits and booking fees, transport fares, bank charges, phone costs and any other third-party charges. You pay these directly to the provider.
- Paying any money on your behalf, or signing agreements for you.
5. Fee and payment
The fee is €350 per client, paid in two parts:
- €150: At the start of the service.
- €200: Once the client's IRP registration appointment is confirmed.
This is a service milestone only. We do not sell, reserve or guarantee government appointments.
If a partner agency pays on your behalf, we agree this in writing before the service starts.
6. Cancellations and refunds
If your plans change, for example a visa is refused or travel is postponed, let us know as soon as possible. Send us a text or WhatsApp message, call us, or talk to us in person, and we will agree together what happens next, including what can be refunded or moved to a later date. The second payment is only due once that milestone is reached.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish law, including any right you have to cancel a service agreed at a distance.
7. An independent service
Settle in Ireland is an independent private service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of any Irish government department or body, including Immigration Service Delivery (ISD), the Department of Justice, the Department of Social Protection, the Garda National Immigration Bureau or Transport for Ireland, or any college or university.
We provide practical guidance and support only. We do not provide legal, immigration or visa advice, and we do not handle visa applications or college admissions, which are managed by the partner agency or by the client directly. We never sell, reserve or guarantee government appointments of any kind.
8. No guarantee of third-party outcomes
Many important outcomes depend on other people and organisations. We will always do our best to help you prepare, but we cannot guarantee, for example:
- that accommodation will be found, or that a landlord will accept you;
- the availability, timing or outcome of any IRP, PPSN or other government appointment or application;
- that a bank or other provider will approve an account or application;
- flight times, transport services or the decisions of any college, employer or public body.
9. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate and up-to-date information, and tell us quickly if your plans change.
- Check official requirements yourself and keep your own documents safe.
- Make your own decisions, applications and payments to third parties.
- Follow the advice of official bodies, and in an emergency call 112 or 999 first.
10. Limitation of liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for the acts, decisions or charges of third parties, such as landlords, banks, transport providers, colleges or public bodies, or for losses caused by information you did not give us.
As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Irish law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Privacy
We handle your personal data as explained in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page on the date you make the first payment applies to your service.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
